Evan's first soccer game was totally a waist! He completely refused to play, so we stood on the sidelines and watched his team in the freezing cold (it was 35 degrees that day) for an hour. The second game, we bribed him with a toy from WalMart following the game - thankfully, it worked! He got his toy, and we got to see him play soccer! He even smiled during the soccer photos. My pregnancy
Hello,
Well - I am 24 weeks pregnant now, and haven't really mentioned it much on my blog. All is going normally with the pregnancy, so I feel as though other things may be more important to talk about on here - like the two kids I already have and their activities.
When I was pregnant with Evan, I called him a fish. When he would move around in utero, he would make the same movements over and over again, just like fish do. This time, I am calling this little boy a monkey. He is VERY active and unpredictable with his movements. I feel him 20 times a day, and each time is in a different spot in my tummy - and the movements are various in nature. Sometimes it is a flat out kick, while others a rubbing of an elbow or shoulder.
During my last doctor's appointment, the doc told me that this baby was in the 68th percentile for his size at the point in time of my Ultrasound - which was performed at 19 weeks. Evan was always in the 95th percentile. Heck, he even measured 2 weeks ahead of his gestational age, making the doc change my due date. This baby is 68th percentile, and measuring within 3 days of the gestational age - meaning, he is spot on.
My theory - he will be smaller than Evan was at birth. My projection is around 8lbs.
If this baby continues to grow in the 68th percentile range - a newborn in this percentile is 8lbs. So, I'm shooting for that.

Facepainting day!
Evan had facepainting day at school today. One of his teachers, Mr. Bob did a fantastic rendition of Spiderman on Evan's cheek for him. He was SO funny about it - he wanted to pose in pictures with his Spiderman Action Figures. Take a look!

It's been busy 'round here
So the last few weeks have been very busy for us. First, Mom and Bob returned from Mexico - we had the pleasure of dog sitting for them. Katie and Buster had a great time together, they both slept all day after Mom and Dad got home and separated them. They were having so much fun playing!
Then, my good friend Leslie came into town from Virginia where her hubby is a Medical Student. It was great to see her. We went to lunch/dinner (dinner at 4:30 is nearly lunch right?) and off to another girlfriend, Jennifer's house for a playdate.
The next day was St. Patty's day - which was great because baby Cameron finally blessed us all with his presence with little coaxing.
Afterwhich, I had the fun filled time of catching some sort of cold - so I've been handling that poorly. No one, and I mean no one come see my house right now - it is BBAADD! With Dan in class, my belly growing into the outer limits, the two kids I barely keep up with now, and then getting a cold on top of that - I haven't touched my house other than to nap on the couch after thrusting whatever sat there onto the nearby surface or floor.
I am beginning to feel better, however this week has been difficult for me due to work related issues/stressors that just down right wear me out.
But, some good news a comin'... We did get Damien's report card last week - which was good news. We also have Evan's first soccer game on Saturday morning - 10am if anyone wants to go.
My work issues will be put to use in another blog - any comments on that will be welcomed. I am at a loss.

Baby Cameron
Baby Cameron Alijah Thomason was born to Tim and Ruthann Thomason on good ol' St. Patty's Day.
His cousins were very excited to meet him and hold him and touch his head. Here are a few pics...
