27 weeks or 7 months...

27 weeks
27 weeks!

So, now I'm 27 weeks and 4 days - thought I'd show some new photos of that big ol' baby bump.
I went to the doc yesterday, had my Glucose check and my Iron check right along with my regular doctor's visit.
Thankfully, I passed both the Iron and Glucose tests. The doctor says all is well. My blood pressure has even gone down from the last doctor's visit a month ago - yesterday it was only 120/64 - whereas, last time it was 130/80 - so that's great!
I've gained more weight than I've wanted to, but who's counting, right?!?

Anyway, all is well - Now, we just have to start getting those every 2 week visits with the doc - Also can't wait for that tax stimulus check, so we can finally go baby-gear shopping!

Evan's school pictures!!

They are SO stinkin' cute!

Damien's new glasses

So, Damien and I went to the eye doctor last week - he got his glasses over the weekend, since my bestest friend Sammy is the Optician in the eye docs office - she brought them over to us on Saturday. Aren't they lookin' good?!?
I really think they look smart!

Damien's blue face...

Damien had an Earth Day carnival at the high school today - they had face painting - he went a little overboard with it, but loved every minute.

Evan spells...

A few months ago, Evan decided to randomly spell the word, wolf. So, I recorded it but it took me a while to figure out how to upload the video onto my computer - Well, I got it done today and just have to share my little smart guy. I will tape the other big smart guy one of these days and put it on here too..
Enjoy!

Another facepainting day!

Evan had another facepainting day at school today - this time he has paw prints like blue's clues!
He told me this morning he would have Green Lantern on his cheek, but I guess they couldn't paint that!

Damien dentist...

Damien went to the dentist yesterday morning and got a filling - so he has a numb cheek - check it out, can you tell?

Baby Names

Ok, so Dan and I are having a bit of a problem in naming this little guy I've got growing in utero currently.
We've both narrowed our lists down to our top three - but I think we may need to decide cohesively on a top three together -

Here's mine:
1. Isaac
2. Eli
3. Kaleb

Dan's top three:
1. Isaac
2. Liam
3. Aiden

Any suggestions??

Evan actually played soccer! WOO HOO!

Evan's first soccer game was totally a waist! He completely refused to play, so we stood on the sidelines and watched his team in the freezing cold (it was 35 degrees that day) for an hour. The second game, we bribed him with a toy from WalMart following the game - thankfully, it worked! He got his toy, and we got to see him play soccer! He even smiled during the soccer photos. Here is a clip of his better moments during the game. He has his light grey sweat pants on... Enjoy!

What Evan wants to be...

My pregnancy

Hello,
Well - I am 24 weeks pregnant now, and haven't really mentioned it much on my blog. All is going normally with the pregnancy, so I feel as though other things may be more important to talk about on here - like the two kids I already have and their activities.
When I was pregnant with Evan, I called him a fish. When he would move around in utero, he would make the same movements over and over again, just like fish do. This time, I am calling this little boy a monkey. He is VERY active and unpredictable with his movements. I feel him 20 times a day, and each time is in a different spot in my tummy - and the movements are various in nature. Sometimes it is a flat out kick, while others a rubbing of an elbow or shoulder.
During my last doctor's appointment, the doc told me that this baby was in the 68th percentile for his size at the point in time of my Ultrasound - which was performed at 19 weeks. Evan was always in the 95th percentile. Heck, he even measured 2 weeks ahead of his gestational age, making the doc change my due date. This baby is 68th percentile, and measuring within 3 days of the gestational age - meaning, he is spot on.
My theory - he will be smaller than Evan was at birth. My projection is around 8lbs.
If this baby continues to grow in the 68th percentile range - a newborn in this percentile is 8lbs. So, I'm shooting for that.
Well, I also took some pics of myself this morning - and thought I'd share this monstrocity they call a baby bump.
