We've got babies!

Buster (the ever popular Campbell Basset hound) has been barking at something under our deck for the last few weeks, intermittantly. I've not had a chance to go see what the fuss is all about, but finally Buster was barking when Dan was home. So, yesterday Dan went and took a peek under the deck to see what he could see.
I figured it would be bunnies, but I was wrong!!

We've counted them, and think there are 4 babies - along with mama living under there. They are about 4 to 5 weeks old. We've gotten two of them out, but the other ones are a little shy.
Mama has weened them, so they need to be cared for - as does the mama. Once we get them out, we will try and find homes (2 of them have homes already, one with us, and one with my friend Sammy)...
Here is the last one we got out - she fell asleep on my shoulder last night...

Do you know anyone that wants a kitty? The others are still under the deck, but we'll be looking for homes once we are able to get them out - if we can!

Damien's birthday!

Hey ya'll. It has been a while since I've had a moment to get on here - sorry bout that. BUT, Damien had his 10th birthday party yesterday - well his "friend" party. The family party will be tomorrow night at our house, I'm sure I'll have pics of that sometime this week.
In the meantime, here's his high school musical themed party that took place at Bravo Dance Academy. It was great - there were even high school students who acted the parts of teacher, Gabriella, and Troy who interacted with the kids, got them to dance and sing. It was a CRACK UP! My face and belly hurt from laughing so much!

In Utero Baby pictures

We went and had a 3D ultrasound of the baby today. It was great! The sonographer was a little "attitudish" but other than that it was great.

27 weeks or 7 months...

So, now I'm 27 weeks and 4 days - thought I'd show some new photos of that big ol' baby bump.
I went to the doc yesterday, had my Glucose check and my Iron check right along with my regular doctor's visit.
Thankfully, I passed both the Iron and Glucose tests. The doctor says all is well. My blood pressure has even gone down from the last doctor's visit a month ago - yesterday it was only 120/64 - whereas, last time it was 130/80 - so that's great!
I've gained more weight than I've wanted to, but who's counting, right?!?

Anyway, all is well - Now, we just have to start getting those every 2 week visits with the doc - Also can't wait for that tax stimulus check, so we can finally go baby-gear shopping!

Damien's new glasses

So, Damien and I went to the eye doctor last week - he got his glasses over the weekend, since my bestest friend Sammy is the Optician in the eye docs office - she brought them over to us on Saturday. Aren't they lookin' good?!?
I really think they look smart!

Damien had an Earth Day carnival at the high school today - they had face painting - he went a little overboard with it, but loved every minute.
